Loose Ring McHardy Bit

The Loose Ring McHardy cheekpiece allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure. The bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth. This bit is suitable for training or playing polocrosse. 

The sweet blue iron mouthpiece will oxidise to a brown colour over time, as it encourages salivation and acceptance of the bit. 

We recommend bit rubbers to prevent pinching. You can special order the Tube variation (in the third picture), which has a metal tube. Contact us to enquire about a special order for a Tube.
